A one-page PDF downloads as filename.png. Multi-page documents download as filename_pngs.zip containing page_1.png, page_2.png, and so on in document order.

PNG is lossless, so a full page at 2.0x is often several megabytes, especially for scans and photos. If some compression is acceptable, PDF to JPG or PDF to WebP produce far smaller images from the same pages.
